Believe it!
A man goes to the airport. While waiting for his flight, he sees a scale. For 25 cents it will tell him his weight. He puts in money and steps on to the scale.
“You weigh 80 kilos,” reads a message on the scale, “and you are on your way to Phoenix on the 5.15 flight.”
“This must be a trick,” he thinks. He puts in more money and steps on to the scale again.
“You weigh 80 kilos,” reports the scale, “and you are on your way to Phoenix on the 5.15 flight – in business class.”
How can a scale know all this? The man takes off his coat and puts down his bag so that the scale will give him a different reading. It works.
“You still weigh 80 kilos,” the scale tells him, “but you have just missed your flight to Phoenix.” [PERIOD]
